Line Cook

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team and help us prepare delicious meals for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for dishes according to recipes and menu specifications
• Cook dishes to order in a timely and efficient manner
• Monitor food stock levels and replenish supplies as needed
• Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented according to our high standards of quality and consistency
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including kitchen equipment and utensils
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff and servers to ensure that orders are prepared and served promptly
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school diploma preferred
• Must have 1 to 2 years' experience as a line cook
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Proven experience as a Line Cook in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
