Provide specialized perioperative nursing care in a busy operating room environment, ensuring patient safety and efficient workflow during surgical procedures. Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and collaborate closely with surgical teams. Responsibilities:
- Deliver preoperative assessments and prepare patients for surgery.
- Assist surgeons and other healthcare professionals during surgical procedures.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to any intraoperative emergencies.
- Maintain sterile environment and ensure compliance with infection control standards.
- Document all patient interactions and surgical details accurately in the EMR system.
- Support postoperative care and patient recovery protocols.
- Hold a valid RN license with current state licensure.
- Possess at least 1 year of perioperative or operating room nursing experience.
- Complete PeriOp 101 certification and demonstrate trauma and ortho experience.
- Be certified in CPR and ACLS.
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Show flexibility to work day shifts and on-call responsibilities.
