Description:
FLOCK is a food truck park and bar in downtown Alton, IL. Our menu focuses on freshly and thoughtfully crafted cocktails and mocktails! We are looking for enthusiastic bartenders to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Good bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. This position is seasonal, part-time, with day shift and night shift schedules. Compensation includes tips.
Requirements:BASSET Certification required
1 Year Bartending experience preferred
Valid driver's license required
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash records
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present bar menu
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Skills
- Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Computer literacy
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Work environment: Open Air Bar
