What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive wound assessments, staging, and treatment planning
• Develop and implement individualized wound care plans
• Monitor healing progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation and compliance
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
• Educate staff on wound care protocols, prevention, and best practices
• Support infection control and quality improvement initiatives
• Participate in rotational on-call coverage as needed

Qualifications (Required for Consideration)

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida (required)
• Wound Care Certification (WCC, WOCN, or equivalent) required
• Experience in wound care within a skilled nursing or healthcare setting (required)

Strong knowledge of:

• Wound staging and treatment protocols
• Infection control practices
• Documentation and regulatory compliance

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF/LTC)
• Familiarity with electronic health records (PCC preferred)
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
