Job Summary Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) position available in Apple Valley, California. This role involves providing specialized inpatient physical therapy services within a community-based acute care hospital. The therapist will assess and treat a variety of diagnoses, including post‑surgical recovery, orthopedic injuries, and medical conditions, ensuring optimal patient outcomes in a fast‑paced environment. Job Details Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 07/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid California license; at least 1 year of inpatient physical therapy experience; certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations; familiarity with electronic charting systems such as Epic; trauma or acute care experience preferred. Special Requirements: Acute care setting experience; skills in Home Exercise Programs, lifting and transfer techniques, patient family education, and management of complex medical conditions including COPD, CHF, MI, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Additional Information: Work a block schedule with possibility of floating across various units; RTO requests must be submitted at time of submission; available to work 3 of 5 major holidays. Submission Requirements: Disclose prior experience at similar facilities; provide two references covering the past three years; hold current LA fire safety certification.
