We’re looking for a proactive, detail‑oriented Buyer who thrives on building strong vendor relationships and ensuring our teams have the materials they need to succeed. Work Type: This position will be based onsite at our Delhi, IA facility. This job opening is not eligible for immigration/work visa sponsorship. Responsibilities: Procurement & Cost Management Source and purchase supplies, tools, and materials at competitive prices while maintaining quality and reliability. Analyze pricing, negotiate terms, and identify cost‑saving opportunities. Vendor & Contract Management Maintain accurate Vendor Master data and ensure compliance with company standards. Meet with supplier representatives to review products, contracts, and performance. Oversee supplier returns and resolve vendor‑related issues. Order Management & Logistics Expedite overdue purchase orders and initiate order traces when needed. Monitor order status and ensure timely delivery of materials. Cross-Department Support Respond promptly to internal department requests and provide purchasing guidance. Manage all purchasing forms, documentation, and workflow processes. Knowledge/Education Associate’s degree in supply chain, Business, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain in a manufacturing or distribution environment Proficiency in ERP systems (experience with M3 is a plus) and Microsoft Office applications Skills and Abilities Strong communication, organization, and follow‑through skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work cross‑functionally Note: This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or qualifications associated with the job.
