Administrative Services staff members provide infrastructure and central support for the departments, programs, and services at Cornell Health. The department manages health informatics, organizational compliance, quality improvement initiatives, billing and finance, operational communications, and support for the advancement of strategic initiatives.


Administrative Services staff members also collaborate ongoingly with centralized university and divisional services such as Facilities, Human Resources, Communications and Marketing, and Information Technology.

The Finance work team oversees the organization's financial operations. This includes monitoring transactions for the health center, routine reconciliations, financial planning, participation in the annual budgeting process, and regular engagement with Cornell Health's operational leaders and other campus stakeholders.

The Finance Specialist supports the financial operations of Cornell Health by performing routine and ad hoc financial analysis, reconciliations, and reporting. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial data related to operational activities, including inventory management, vaccine reporting, and cost-of-sales analysis. This role develops, tests, runs, and documents processes for reconciliations, reports, and analyses for both internal and external customers, assists with routine and ad hoc internal audits, supports university-led audit proceedings and monitors transactions to identify and resolve underlying data and transactional issues.

The position serves as the primary administrator for restricted gift accounts and works closely with unit leadership to support stewardship activities, budget planning, and financial decision-making. The Finance Specialist plays a key role in strengthening financial controls and improving reporting systems and procedures at Cornell Health.
