Staff Accountant

Are you an accounting professional who thrives on accuracy, organization, and making an impact behind the scenes? We’re looking for a detail-driven Accountant to support critical financial operations and help keep our business running smoothly.
At Taco Metals, you’ll be part of a collaborative environment where your expertise in reconciliations, reporting, and financial processes directly contributes to company success.
What You’ll DoAs our Accountant, you’ll play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting functions and month-end close activities. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and posting journal entries during the month-end close
- Reconciling balance sheet accounts and maintaining accurate financial records
- Managing daily bank reconciliations, cash receipts, and cash postings
- Preparing and filing monthly sales tax returns
- Creating and distributing sales commission and royalty reports
- Processing and posting Concur transactions and related reporting
- Assisting the Controller with corporate reporting and special financial projects
- Collaborating cross-functionally to improve processes and solve problems proactively
- Supporting continuous improvement through training and professional development
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience preferred, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Strong experience with ERP systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality

This position is based in a professional office setting and involves:
