Desktop Support Technician

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join one of our clients' internal IT teams. This individual will provide hands‑on technical support to end users, troubleshooting and resolving desktop, laptop, mobile device, hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities include workstation setup and deployment, device imaging and configuration, Microsoft 365 support, user account assistance, password resets, peripheral troubleshooting, and basic AV support for conference rooms and meetings. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of desktop support experience, strong technical troubleshooting abilities, excellent communication skills, and a customer‑first mindset with a passion for helping users resolve issues efficiently and professionally. This position offers flexible hours and averages 35 hours per week. Candidates will primarily work onsite throughout the Tampa Bay area, providing support across multiple office locations as business needs require. Skills and Requirements 1-2+ years of hands‑on Desktop Support, Help Desk, or End User Support experience. Experience troubleshooting and supporting Windows workstations and laptops Experience with hardware setup, deployment, imaging, and device troubleshooting. Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications. Experience troubleshooting printers, peripherals, docking stations, monitors, and mobile devices. Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to support non‑technical users Experience creating, updating, and resolving tickets in an IT ticketing system. Active driver's license and ability to work onsite and travel between Tampa‑area office locations as needed. CompTIA A+/ ITLL Certifications highly preferred.
