Card Services Manager

Snelling Staffing is searching for an experienced professional to manage the card programs for a credit union in the Baton Rouge area. This position oversees daily operations such as card issuance, disputes, fraud mitigation, and portfolio growth. The right candidate will need to be a strong leader with excellent communication skills and an experienced understanding of card operations. Our client is offering full-time hours with an extensive benefits package and a salary in the range of $65,000 to $75,000. Knowledge and Experience working with card networks (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, etc.) and related card and financial services is REQUIRED prior to applying. Position Responsibilities Direct supervision of the card services department staff Responsible for hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and overall employee development of staff members Establish team goals, monitor productivity, and ensure service standards are met Oversee day-to-day card service operations, including debit and credit card processing, maintenance, and support Develop and implement fraud prevention and detection strategies, monitor card activity for suspicious trends Manage dispute processing and resolution in accordance with applicable regulations Prepare and present monthly reports on key performance indicators, fraud losses, disputes, and operational metrics Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations including Bank Secrecy Act, Reg E, Reg Z, USA Patriot Act, etc. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field (equivalent work experience may be acceptable in lieu of education) At least 3-5 years of experience with card services, payments, or financial services operations is REQUIRED 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience is STRONGLY PREFERRED Knowledge of card networks (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) and associated processing systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to multi-task Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills HireQuest does not discriminate on the basis of Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or other legally protected group status in making hiring or employment decisions.
