Locals accepted at a lower bill rate. CA license and certifications must be in hand. Shift requirements include 5 x8 days, with start times between 6:45a and 8:30a. Weekend requirements include a ratio of 2 years of experience. First-timers accepted with the following certifications required: CA RN Licensure, BLS, PALS, ACLS, NIHSS Certification, conscious sedation experience, and a call requirement of overnights on weekdays, weekends 24hrs each day, and holidays 24hrs per day. Special requirements include 2 years of recent OR experience in a community hospital or Trauma level 2 facility and 2 years circulating experience in a community hospital setting including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Spine, Urology, Robotics, OB/GYN (C-sections), Plastic Surgery, and Robotics. This position provides individualized nursing care based on knowledge of basic competencies in the fundamentals of nursing and pharmacology using the nursing process applied to geriatric, adult, and adolescent patients from admission through discharge. This role requires knowledge of standards of care, nursing assessment parameters, and pharmacology, including doses, purpose, interactions, side effects, and reactions to medications.
