Required Credentials & Qualifications

• EPIC EMR Experience (Mandatory)
• NBRC RRT Certification ( Required) Active, current certification
• New York State License ( Required) Active and unrestricted
• ACLS ( Required) Current AHA certification
• BLS ( Required) Current AHA certification
• PALS ( Required) Current AHA certification
• NRP ( Required) Current AHA certification
• Associate's Degree (Required) From an accredited Respiratory Care program
• Critical Care Proficiency ( Required) Documented experience in ICU/CCU settings
• Labor & Delivery/Neonatal Resuscitation ( Required) Experience attending deliveries and neonatal resuscitation

Role & Responsibilities:

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is responsible for:

• Performing comprehensive cardiopulmonary evaluations across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Delivering respiratory care and life support interventions for patients of all ages
• Managing deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system per established protocols or physician prescription
• Providing patient, family, and public education regarding respiratory health
• Operating across all clinical areas within the hospital, including critical care units, emergency department, and neonatal units

Minimum Experience: 

• 1–2 years of acute care hospital experience preferred for travel assignments
