This role reports to the Human Resources Manager and partners with leadership and employees to help attract, develop, and retain a high-performing workforce while fostering an engaging, positive, and inclusive workplace culture.The ideal candidate is relationship-oriented, organized, proactive, and passionate about employee experience and organizational growth.Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition & RecruitmentPartner with the Human Resources Manager to support short and long-term business objectives regarding staffing, including an understanding of job duties and project goalsLead full-cycle recruiting efforts for assigned positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding coordinationDocument all candidate activity in the ATSPartner with Hiring Managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategiesQualify candidates against detailed job descriptions through resume reviews, phone and in-person interviewsMaintain and improve candidate experience throughout the hiring processSource candidates from a variety of sources, including job boards, employee referrals and online resourcesBuild talent pipelines and community partnerships to support workforce planning initiativesMake recommendations to Hiring Managers for qualified candidatesPerform all recruiting activities within EEOC guidelines and document all decisions for Affirmative Action ReportingCoordinate, schedule, and occasionally attend interviewsAssist with employer branding and recruitment marketing effortsPromote Amuneal in a positive manner as an employer of choiceWorkforce DevelopmentCoordinate onboarding activities for new hires ensuring participation at orientation, safety training and benefits enrollment meetingsEnsure that managers and leads are regularly connecting with new hires at scheduled intervals (30, 60, and 90-days of employment) to address training and development needsAssist in identifying training and professional development opportunities, identifying skill gaps and coordinating targeted training sessions to support career progressionSupport succession planning and internal growth initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve employee satisfaction, connection, and career growthTrack training participation and workforce development metricsEmployee Engagement Support initiatives that promote employee engagement, morale, retention, and organizational cultureCollaborate with existing channels to ensure new hires are abreast of and connected to existing employee recognition programs, events, and culture-building activitiesServe as a resource for employees regarding workplace concerns, engagement, and employee experienceHelp reinforce company values, mission, and workplace expectationsHR Support & CollaborationPartner with the HR Manager on people-related initiatives and strategic projectsMaintain accurate recruiting, onboarding, and employee development recordsSupport HR compliance, policies, and best practicesAssist with HR communications and process improvementsPerform other HR Generalist duties as business need growsParticipate in special projects as requestedQualifications2–5 years of experience in recruiting, HR, workforce development, employee engagement, or related areasStrong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortability making and receiving cold callsAbility to build relationships across all levels of the organizationStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to disseminate complex information in a clear and concise mannerAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentMust be able to work independently with minimal oversiteProficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS/applicant tracking systemsPreferred SkillsExperience supporting employee engagement or culture initiativesKnowledge of employment practices and HR fundamentalsStrong problem-solving and collaboration skillsBilingual (English & Spanish) is a plusWork Environment & Physical Requirements Requires prolonged sitting at a desk and frequent computer monitor viewingExceptional speaking and listening capabilities are required to conduct interviews, lead internal training and networking at outside eventsLight activity such as navigating around an office setting and around the manufacturing floor; proper PPE (closed toed shoes & protective eyewear) required while on shop floorHybrid at home/in office with occasional participation in recruiting events, training events, or employee activitiesRequires travel between company locations or community events
