Wound Care Physician MD/DO Nurse Practitioner PA Charleston, IL

Location: Charleston, IL and surrounding areas

Schedule: Full-Time, 5 days per week, or Part-Time, 3 days per week

Compensation: Competitive compensation based on patient volume and procedures, with additional skin sweep and biologics earning opportunities.

MedStaff Group is recruiting on behalf of a growing wound care organization seeking an MD, DO, NP, or PA to provide wound care services in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities throughout the Charleston region.

Territory Coverage

Arcola, Bement, Casey, Charleston, Chrisman, Effingham, Greenup, Marshall, Neoga, Newton, Oblong, Paris, Robinson, and Tuscola. Additional potential coverage may develop within a one-hour radius.

Schedule and Patient Volume

Part-time: 3 days per week, approximately 7590 encounters weekly across 69 facilities.

Full-time: 5 days per week, approximately 120140 encounters weekly across 1215 facilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive wound assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Perform debridement and minor procedures within your scope of practice.
• Counsel patients and collaborate with facility nursing teams.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Travel between assigned facilities throughout the territory.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Illinois MD, DO, NP, or PA license and appropriate clinical credentials.
• Wound care or long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the region.
