Occupational Medicine Policy Development

You will develop and oversee enterprise-level Occupational Medicine (OM) policy for the Department of Navy (DON) and helps ensure the delivery of OM services to Navy and Marine Corps activities.

You will review, analyze and update current DON and Department of War (DOW) policies and develop new DON policies to address issues that arise.

You will prepare informational products, decision briefs, and presentations as needed to inform senior leaders of key Public Health (PH) issues.

You will provide technical medical consultant guidance when indicated on selected individual immunization-related Religious Accommodation Waivers.

You will coordinate with various non-DOW, U.S. Government agencies to address problems that may arise.
