Metro Services is seeking to immediately fill 3rd Shift Extrusion Supervisor positions for a Manufacturing company. This is a temporary travel position lasting 4-8 months. Apply now!

Duties for this position include:

• Supervise daily operations within the extrusion department while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures

• Lead employees by promoting a culture of safety, quality, productivity, continuous improvement, and teamwork

• Ensure all products are manufactured according to production plans and customer specifications

• Provide training, coaching, and direction in accordance with TS16949 quality standards and company requirements

• Monitor production schedules, staffing, and material availability to meet customer deadlines efficiently

• Maintain production records, including scrap reports, rate board documentation, attendance, and overtime tracking

• Conduct shift huddles and team meetings to communicate production goals, safety updates, and operational information

• Investigate accidents and near-miss incidents, ensuring reports are completed accurately and corrective actions are implemented

• Support and maintain compliance with TS16949, ISO 14001, Layered Process Audits (LPAs), and Focus Safety Audits

Compensation (USD):

$30.00/hour

Plus, Weekly Per Diem

Schedule:

3rd Shift

Sunday night – Thursday night

11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Overtime: Friday and/or Saturday as needed

Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:

• 3–5 years of supervisory experience, or more than four years of practical supervisory/management experience

• Previous manufacturing supervision experience required

• Strong leadership, communication, and employee development skills

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities

• Computer proficiency, including spreadsheets, word processing, and production documentation

• Ability to manage production schedules, labor, attendance, and overtime effectively

• Knowledge of TS16949, ISO 14001, quality systems, and continuous improvement practices preferred

• Willingness and ability to travel as needed
