In this role, you’ll set the tone at the pool bar—creating expertly crafted beverages while delivering friendly, engaging service that makes every guest feel welcome and valued from arrival to farewell. It’s a fantastic chance for a motivated individual to grow their skills, learn from the best, and be part of an exceptional team at a world‑class property.Duties and ResponsibilitiesGreet guests as they arrive or move about the pool areaAdhere to standards set forth by management and companyMaintains proper and adequate set-up of the pool dailyGuide guests through descriptive selling of the menuBe accurate in order taking, confirming all special requestsWork collaboratively with other servers and kitchen/bar staffAssist guests who have concerns to guide them to a resolution that leaves them happyFinalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentationRequisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits and suppliesAbility to learn and follow proper steps of service for all guests’ interactionsAbility to work alone and in a team to include serving, bussing, running, general cleaning and special projects as assigned by managementResponsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality.Mixes, garnishes, and presents drinks following standard ingredient recipes and practicing portion control.Inputs orders into a register at the point of sale and creates a check for each guestLocks up and stores all beverages, food and other equipment items, deposits cash drops and secures bank and all other duties as assigned.What are we looking for?Physical RequirementsPrior bartending/serving experience required.Ability to understand verbal English to comprehend basic guest requests.Ability to understand written English to read any caution or safety notices.Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, transport up to 75 lbs.Ability to move or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighing a maximum of 200 lbs.All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well groomed appearanceAt Renaissance, we want every guest and every associate to feel that they belong.
