What You’ll Do Provide therapy services according to individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Work with residents to support their mobility, function, independence, and quality of life. Monitor and communicate residents’ progress and any changes in condition. Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Nursing, physicians, families, and other members of the interdisciplinary team. Maintain accurate and timely documentation. Participate in care planning, team meetings, training, and professional development. Promote a safe, respectful, and positive environment for residents. What You Bring Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current, unrestricted Virginia PTA license in good standing. Current CPR certification . Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A professional, dependable, and compassionate approach. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Knowledge and respect for residents’ rights. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Must be able to sit and walk for extended periods and bend, squat, push, stoop, and pull as needed. Must be able to safely lift more than 50 pounds with assistance, based on the resident’s abilities.
