Landscape Laborer

Position Summary

As a Landscape Laborer, you will work alongside our crew to maintain and improve commercial and residential properties. This position is physically demanding and requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform lawn mowing using commercial walk-behind and zero-turn mowers
• String trim around buildings, fences, trees, and other obstacles
• Edge sidewalks, curbs, and landscape beds
• Blow grass clippings and debris from all hard surfaces
• Install mulch, decorative stone, and plants
• Perform spring and fall cleanups
• Trim shrubs and hedges
• Pull weeds and apply herbicides when directed
• Assist with sod installation and lawn renovations
• Load, unload, clean, and maintain equipment
• Perform daily equipment inspections
• Maintain a clean and organized truck, trailer, and job site
• Follow all company safety procedures
• Assist with snow removal operations during the winter season when needed
• Complete other landscaping duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of professional landscaping experience preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds repeatedly
• Ability to work outdoors in hot, cold, and wet weather
• Reliable transportation to and from our shop
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to follow directions and work independently when needed
• Punctual and dependable

Preferred Experience

• Commercial landscape maintenance
• Operating zero-turn and stand-on mowers
• String trimmers, backpack blowers, hedge trimmers, and other landscape equipment
• Mulch and planting installations
• Snow plowing or snow removal experience (a plus)

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• Start time: 7:30 AM
• Overtime and occasional Saturdays during peak season
• Snow operations during winter storms may require overnight or extended hours
