Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a difference by providing essential psychological services to students across a diverse K-12 population. As a full-time, contract School Psychologist, you will work with an itinerant caseload, supporting children at multiple sites in the area. Your expertise will be key in completing assessments, advising on interventions, and helping foster a positive learning environment. Collaborate with education professionals, families, and staff to ensure each student has the support they need to thrive.
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Proficient in conducting evaluations, writing reports, and interpreting data
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to travel between school sites as required
Responsibilities:
- Carry out psychological and educational assessments for K-12 students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop strategies that promote academic and emotional growth
- Provide consultation and intervention services as needed
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to data-driven decisions
