Assistant Program Manager

Job description *Walnut* *Street Center is looking for an* *Assistant Residential Program Manager * *to support the supervision of a home supporting adults with Intellectual Disabilities . We offer competitive pay & excellent benefits in a rewarding and supportive environment.* Walnut Street Center is hiring a full time Assistant Residential Program Manager to work with Individuals with ID/DD in one of our Residential Programs. We are a nonprofit human service agency that provides adults with developmental disabilities the opportunity to live engaged and meaningful lives. *Candidates must have comparable managerial experience and experience working with this population. Essential Duties: Supports Residential Program Manager with staffing; scheduling, on-call, training, supervision and relationship management. Supports Residential Program Manager with Case Management; develops and implements all aspects of ISPs, schedules and attends medical appointments, program and clinical reviews. Completes or delegates the completion of administrative tasks, including but not limited to: updating of manuals and approval/ reconciliation of petty cash funds, house accounts and representative payee accounts. Conducts activities of daily living, including but not limited to: social skills, personal routines, financial management, personal hygiene/care of residents. Serves as a liaison between Agency and the individuals’ family, friends and guardians. Supports Residential Program Manager with implementation of behavioral interventions. Supports Residential Program Manager with implementation of emergency procedures that ensure the safety of the individuals, both in the home and within the community. Administers and oversees the timely and accurate administration and documentation of administration of medication(s). Acts as residence's Medication Officer. Maintains a physically safe work environment and reports work related injuries/incidents to Human Resources in a timely manner. Performs other duties as assigned by management. Requirements: Ability to work Sunday through Thursday 11:00am-7:00pm schedule Experience managing a group home Experience working with Individuals with ID/DD High school diploma or equivalent Must be able to pass OIG, CORI, SORI, DPPC, and Driving background checks. Holds Medication Administration (MAP), First Aid/CPR, and Safety Valid Driver's License required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
