BI Data Analyst

Role Overview As a Business Intelligence Data Analyst, you will transform data into meaningful insights, building and maintaining reports and dashboards using Power BI and SSRS. You will collaborate closely with business partners to understand reporting needs, translate them into technical solutions, and leverage SQL to query and manage data across multiple systems. You will support data validation, refine reporting processes, and contribute to documentation that enhances transparency and usability. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data and solving business problems. Responsibilities Build and maintain reports and dashboards in Power BI and SSRS. Develop, test, and maintain SQL queries and data models. Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into technical deliverables. Validate data quality and consistency across reporting outputs. Document and improve reporting processes to support transparency and usability. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, information systems, computer science, or a related field is preferred. Required Qualifications 1+ years of experience in reporting, data analysis, or analytics within a business environment. Experience interpreting business requirements and translating them to technical requirements. Ability to read, write, and modify moderately complex SQL queries. Experience managing data tables, understanding common data structures and table joins. Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and moderately complex formulas). Hands‑on experience providing reporting and/or data visualization using Power BI or SSRS / Visual Studio. Currently authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship. Hybrid work schedule: minimum 3 days per week in St. Louis Corporate Office (1832 Schuetz Rd., Saint Louis, MO). Work‑from‑home requests must align with company policy. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience with Snowflake data cloud. Exposure to data warehousing concepts or working with large, complex datasets. Advanced knowledge in data analytics tools and methodologies. Total Rewards & Benefits Competitive base salary: $66,500–$86,000 (based on experience and location).
