Qualifications Knowledge of fire-fighting standards, practices, strategies, tactics and equipment; operation, maintenance and repair of fire apparatus; all fire codes and emergency first aid and CPR are desired. Applicant must be able to obtain certification as a Georgia Firefighter through the Georgia Firefighter Standards and Training Commission. Special Requirements Applicant must provide a copy of a valid High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid Georgia driver's license, class B non-commercial. Applicant must be able to pass a physical fitness agility test. Category Public Safety Status Open Salary Pay varies depending on levels of certification.
