Job Description - Respiratory Therapists RRT PRN (INT-7419-1762) Job Description Respiratory Therapists RRT PRN - INT-7419-1762 Vaughan Regional Medical Center Description Performs duties involved with the treatment, management, diagnostic evaluation and care of patients with deficiencies and / or abnormalities with the cardiopulmonary system. Under the supervision of the Respiratory Care Director and upon the request of the physician, provides the delivery of any respiratory modalities to all demographic groups in any clinical area. Completes all required documentation. Must be able to demonstrate the clinical ability to functionas RT inany areato which assigned. Responsible for upholding the values of Vaughan Regional Medical Center. Qualifications Education: Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy Program preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent. Must hold a current Alabama State Licensure or a temporary license. Certification of Registry preferred. Experience: One year of hospital experience preferred. Skills: Ability to assess respiratory status and administer the prescribed respiratory treatment(s) and interventions accurately and efficiently. ACLS, BLS, & PALS certification required (must be obtained within 90 days of hire date); NRP certification preferred. Physical Requirements : Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods, walk at least 12 hours per day, lift/carry 20 pounds, hear alarms and telephone rings, distinguish colors, perform repetitive tasks/motions to include, but not limited to, bending and kneeling, have good eye/hand/foot coordination, and have clear vision at 20 or more feet with or without vision corrective device. #J-18808-Ljbffr
