Student Employment jobs are considered to be entry level, part-time, and temporary. Practical training and character unfoldment are the primary focuses of the Student Employment program. The Student Employment program is housed within the Human Resources Department in the School of Government Building, on the terrace level, office #053. Any questions, job concerns, or suggestions about the program may be directed to the Student Employment Coordinator. Employee Requirements and Eligibility All currently enrolled Principia College students are eligible to apply for student employment. All employment is contingent upon verification of work eligibility, according to the Department of Homeland Security guidelines. All individuals applying to work through Student Employment must go through pre-employment, which includes completing an I9 to verify work eligibility, a federal W-4 form, an IL W-4 form (even if claiming exemption), a basic Student Employment application, and a signed Student Employment agreement.
