Assistant Supervisor PT

The Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD) is a mission‑driven organization providing applied behavior analysis services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder. CARD is seeking an Assistant Supervisor PT to support clinical staff and oversee ABA treatment implementation. Position Overview The Assistant Supervisor PT provides mid‑level supervision and direct therapy to patients. Working under Clinical Supervisors, the role includes on‑site delivery of ABA procedures, data collection, program design, training of staff, and administrative support. The position reports to the Operations Manager. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Represent CARD professionally and ethically to stakeholders. Supervise case work of Behavior Technicians under direction of Clinical Supervisors. Provide clinical feedback through training, team meetings, and data review. Report progress and assist action plans to address challenging behaviors. Conduct caregiver collaboration meetings and assist with functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs). Maintain SKILLS accounts and assist with program updates, lesson materials, and discrete events. Set and meet performance goals for case quality and administrative duties. Assist in training new staff members and provide direct treatment as needed. Maintain HIPAA compliance and attend required trainings and meetings. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT) credential or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential obtained within 90 days of hire. Bachelor’s degree with 12 units of ABA and 1 year of experience, OR a bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience, OR a master’s degree with appropriate experience. Experience designing and implementing behavior modification intervention services. Reliable transportation with proof of auto insurance. Proficiency in English, both verbal and written. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Ability to provide treatment at the highest level of excellence and complete all CARD Assistant Supervisor training. Demonstrate clinical expertise and the ability to model and explain concepts. Train others effectively in various formats. Maintain strict confidentiality and demonstrate empathy, compassion, and a solution‑focused attitude. Work collaboratively and independently with team members and patients. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Demonstrate excellent time‑management skills in a fast‑paced environment. Desire to continuously learn and develop skillsets. Familiarity with iPads, tablets, and related technology. Work Environment Work is performed in a combination of office and treatment settings, including CARD centers, patients’ homes, schools, community locations, and outdoor areas. Environments may be noisy and involve indoor and outdoor settings. Physical Requirements Travel to multiple locations to provide onsite support and therapy. Assist patients who are seated on the floor, in small chairs, or in other home, school, or clinic environments. Move frequently during sessions to gather materials and respond to patient behavior. Assist and position oneself to respond to movements and behaviors, including bending, kneeling, and reaching. Respond to aggressive behaviors, including briefly bearing weight of a patient. Teach vocal speech and model communication clearly. Assist in teaching gross and fine motor skills. Work in various weather conditions when outside. Lift up to 30 lbs. while assisting patients.
