Nuclear Medicine Technologist I - Per Diem Imaging Specialist

Job Description We are looking for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work in our Nuclear Medicine and/or Molecular Imaging & Therapy departments. Candidates must be state and nationally registered professionals capable of performing quality nuclear medicine studies. This position is Per Diem. Responsibilities Work under the supervision of the Technical Supervisor and the Nuclear Medicine Radiologist to perform routine nuclear medicine procedures. Educate patients and/or family about procedures, administer radiopharmaceuticals, position patients for accurate and clear images, and provide post‑procedure instructions. Accurately document all patient information in the appropriate system. Handle call responsibility and rotate to hospital‑adjacent imaging center locations as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education and Experience Associate’s Degree or higher. Graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine program required. Minimum of one year continuous experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. License Required State of California Certified Technologist Nuclear Medicine (CTNM) license. Certifications Required AHA BLS Certification. Advanced certification in Nuclear Medicine from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT‑N) or NMTCB‑CNMT. Certifications Preferred Advanced certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography.
