CDL Class A delivery driver

Position Summary The primary function of a delivery driver is to safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with company policies, Federal and State regulations, and deliver all freight undamaged. Work as a team player to deliver, load/unload materials while providing a world‑class customer service experience. Duties & Responsibilities Inspect truck/trailer for defects to ensure safe operation. Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck and unload products at commercial and residential job sites. Deliver materials to assigned area as directed by the customer while prioritizing personal safety and the safety of those around you. Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations. Report all accidents involving the driver or company equipment. Lift heavy building materials up to 100+ lbs. during load/unload. Exhibit excellent customer service skills and a professional attitude. Basic Qualifications High School diploma or GED. Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL), Minimum Class A. Clear three‑year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR). Overall knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations. Lifting heavy building materials up to 80 lbs. for loading/unloading. Frequent movement of materials weighing up to 80 lbs. while unloading flatbed. Operate commercial and boom vehicles, continually unloading materials onto job sites. Judge distance while delivering materials and operating a boom. Communicate accurately with management and coworkers in outside environments. Required Cognitive Skills Prioritize job sites and deadlines. Manage stress based on customer deadlines. Multitask effectively. Receive and act on information and directions. Communicate solutions promptly when problems occur. Apply high‑degree sound judgment. Benefits Base salary typically $23.51 to $29.90 per hour (wage may vary). Hourly associates may be eligible for overtime and performance‑based bonus programs, commissions, car allowance, or automobile and fuel program.
