Data Engineer II
Virtual Vocations Inc
Designing, developing, and supporting integration processes and data warehouse activities, the full-time remote Data Engineer II will translate business requirements into technical specifications, manage data pipelines, and mentor junior team members while utilizing various data tools and technologies. Key responsibilities Code, test, and implement integration software for ETL solutions, ensuring efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading Debug and troubleshoot production job errors, providing necessary support for data pipeline operations Produce comprehensive documentation for development processes, policies, and procedures while participating in project planning and status meetings Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required At least 2 years of experience with Data Lake House or Enterprise Data Minimum 2 years of database development experience using Python, SQL, PL/SQL, or Bash 2 years of experience with Big Data technologies such as Data Bricks or Apache Spark 1 year of experience with cloud technologies like Azure or AWS is preferred
