Contract: 13 Weeks of Contract

Shift: Days | 312-Hour Shifts | On-Call: Required 30-minute response time

Pay Rate:

• Local: $50/hr on W2
• Travel: $2,050/Weekly Gross

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist with strong Cardiovascular (CVOR) experience to support surgical procedures and maintain a safe, sterile operating environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of Surgical Tech experience, including 1+ year of CVOR scrubbing experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
• Maintain the sterile field throughout surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and the surgical team within the scope of practice.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of CVOR/Cardiac surgical procedures and instrumentation.
• Ensure surgical instruments and supplies meet sterilization requirements.
• Perform and maintain accurate counts of instruments, sharps, and surgical supplies.
• Follow sharps safety, fire safety, and environmental safety protocols.
• Recognize and appropriately respond to emergency situations during surgery.
• Assist with sterile processing and proper handling of surgical instruments as needed.
• Support room turnover, cleaning, and preparation for subsequent procedures.
• Maintain compliance with infection prevention and surgical safety standards.
• Participate in surgical operations and patient safety initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of Surgical Technologist experience.
• 1+ year of CVOR/Cardiovascular Surgical Tech experience Required.
• CO DORA License Required.
• NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Required.
• BLS (AHA) Required
