Day-to-Day

Serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams

Investigate data issues, validate data accuracy, and perform root cause analysis

Research data lineage, mappings, and transformations across the data warehouse

Conduct data quality checks, anomaly detection, and validation testing

Evaluate business requirements and determine appropriate data solutions

Participate in ticket triage and production migration reviews

Create and update JIRA tickets while partnering with data quality and validation teams

Identify process improvements and implement data best practices

Ensure data products align with business needs and organizational goals

Job Description: Insight Global is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for a leading media and advertising technology organization. This individual will serve as a critical bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and usability across enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate is not simply a SQL developer but a true data analyst with strong data warehousing expertise, ETL knowledge, and a deep understanding of how data moves through an enterprise ecosystem.

This role will focus on investigating data issues, validating data integrity, tracing data lineage, and supporting business-critical initiatives. Successful candidates will be able to speak confidently about data architecture concepts, Stage/EDS/Data Mart environments, ETL transformations, and enterprise-scale data workflows. Strong SQL skills are essential, as previous interview processes have identified technical SQL proficiency and data warehousing knowledge as the primary differentiators for top candidates. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with business acumen to translate stakeholder needs into scalable data solutions.

Skills and Requirements

7+ years of advanced SQL experience (ad hoc queries, data validation, data quality analysis)

Strong Data Analyst background with ability to understand the full data lifecycle, not just development tasks

Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts and enterprise data architecture

Experience with ETL processes, data transformations, and data movement across Stage ? EDS ? Data Mart layers

Ability to analyze data lineage, mapping, and downstream business impacts

Proven experience translating business requirements into technical data solutions

Enterprise-level experience supporting data quality, governance, and validation efforts

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Snowflake experience

Python and/or UNIX Shell scripting

Experience with Monte Carlo, Octane, or similar data quality tools

AI experience or leveraging AI to improve team velocity

Experience supporting large-scale data migrations or merger/integration initiatives

JIRA experience
