Sr. Design Engineer

Lead, evaluate, design, and engineer projects and systems tospecificationon projects ranging fromnew design/build to rehabilitation of existing facilities and systems.Provide ongoing technical guidance and engineering issue resolution as needed. Serves as design professional at project team design meetings Prepares complex preliminary redline design layouts for estimating Performs more complex calculations for a project, such as heating/cooling loads, equipmentselectionand sizing, friction loss calculations, hydraulic calculations, etc. Performs site inspections todeterminecompliance with construction documents and resolves design issues during construction phase Supervises less-experienced engineers in performing HVAC, fire protection or other system design anddocumentsproduction of small and large projects. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineeringor related field PE Licenserequired 8+ years of experience, including lead experience Excellent knowledge of applicable systems design, such as fire suppression, HVAC, plumbing, etc., as well as general understanding of system operations.
