This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is the employer and is responsible for all employment matters, including hiring, firing, discipline, scheduling, and staffing. McDonald’s USA will not receive applications or be involved in hiring decisions. Responsibilities Managers lead shifts weekly, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. Some managers also lead Departments. Manager responsibilities may include managing assigned systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management; setting goals; delegating tasks; following up; and reporting results. The Guest Service Department Manager ensures crew and managers deliver a great customer experience, execute sales promotions, train service staff, and maintain organized Front Counter McCafé and Drive‑Thru areas. The Kitchen Department Manager ensures the restaurant delivers high‑quality, fast food that is always safe, controls food cost, and trains kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items. The People Department Manager hires qualified crew, trains them, schedules to meet sales and profit goals, and ensures crew receive recognition and motivation throughout their tenure. Qualifications Previous managerial experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Positive team player with a flexible schedule who thrives in a fast‑paced environment. Must be 18 years or older.
