Job Summary

Parkland Kids Academy is seeking a dependable and caring Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The teacher will create a positive classroom environment, support children's development, and ensure the safety and supervision of all children in their care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety of all children in the classroom
• Plan and implement age appropriate learning activities
• Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment
• Support children's social, emotional, and educational development
• Communicate professionally with parents about daily activities and progress
• Follow Kentucky childcare licensing regulations and center policies
• Maintain accurate attendance and classroom records
• Work collaboratively with staff and administration
• Maintain proper classroom supervision at all times

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience working with children preferred
• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework preferred but not required
• Must pass required background checks
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to work in a team environment
