Employee perks: What You Will Do Perform high-quality radiographic and CT imaging studies in accordance with established protocols while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and diagnostic accuracy. Essential Job Functions Performs radiologic procedures following unit-based standards of practice. Positions patients, sets exposure factors, and produces high-quality diagnostic images. Prepares and maintains exam rooms per BRGMC Safety Guidelines. Utilizes immobilization devices and ensures patient safety and comfort. Operates radiographic and CT equipment safely and accurately. Prepares contrast media and administers when permitted by policy. Explains procedures to patients, reduces anxiety, and ensures cooperation. Recognizes adverse reactions and communicates promptly with staff and physicians. Demonstrates age-specific care and clear communication. Performs CT scans including patient positioning, scan setup, and image acquisition. Maintains CT room, equipment, and supply inventory. Performs daily QC tests and documents radiation safety compliance. Accurately charges procedures and maintains regulatory readiness. Completes required education and maintains licensure and CPR. Performs all other duties as assigned.
