This role combines strategic insight with hands-on financial expertise to support business growth, enhance decision-making, and maintain the company’s financial strength. The ideal candidate is a seasoned finance leader capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, high-growth environment. This individual must possess strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills and will work closely with company leadership to measure, analyze, and report on the financial health of the enterprise.ResponsibilitiesLead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes to align financial goals with organizational strategyDevelop, maintain, and enhance financial models to support strategic initiatives, investments, and key business decisionsPrepare and present financial analyses, dashboards, and performance metrics for senior leadership and stakeholdersAnalyze variances between actual results and forecasts or budgets, providing clear, actionable insightsPartner with business unit and department leaders to improve financial performance, cost management, and resource allocationOversee treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and financial risk assessmentManage working capital, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash optimization strategiesOversee investment management activities and cost control initiatives, as applicableEnsure compliance with debt covenants, credit agreements, and treasury-related policiesSupport financing activities, including debt issuance, renewals, and capital structure planningManage relationships with banking partners and other financial institutionsLead, mentor, and develop FP&A and Treasury team members, fostering professional growth and high performancePromote a culture of excellence, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance organizationEstablish and enhance financial policies, procedures, and internal controls related to FP&A and TreasuryCollaborate closely with Accounting, Payroll, and operational teams to ensure alignment between forecasting, reporting, and cash managementSupport internal and external audit activities by providing financial analysis and required documentationManage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, lenders, bankers, and auditorsParticipate in special projects, M&A analysis, and enterprise-wide strategic initiativesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role managing teams and driving organizational resultsStrong experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and treasury/cash managementExpert knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principlesProven expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical problem-solvingDemonstrated ability to translate complex financial data into strategic insightsExperience partnering with executive leadership and cross-functional teamsAdvanced Excel skills and experience with ERP and FP&A systemsExcellent communication, presentation, and leadership skillsIn accordance with Virginia Senate Bill 215 (SB 215), the base salary range for this position is:$125,000.00 - $180,000.00Compensation in other cities and states may vary. HITT Contracting offers a competitive total benefits and compensation package including performance-based bonuses, premium health care coverage including vision and dental, employer-matched 401(k), wellness reimbursement program, paid holidays and time-off, and other voluntary benefits and leave types.
