About the Position

Neurology Opportunity in Gonzales, LA

You'll step into an established outpatient neurology practice with immediate patient volume and a strong primary care referral stream. This is a General Neurology position with broad clinical variety and access to additional regional resources. If you're looking for a stable weekday schedule with limited inpatient responsibility, this is worth a closer look.

Practice Overview

Outpatient-focused General Neurology practice with limited inpatient responsibility
You'll join a team currently including 1 MD, 1 NP, additional APP support approved, plus 2 MAs and dedicated clinic staff
Clinical scope includes stroke/vascular neurology, epilepsy, movement disorders, neuromuscular conditions, MS, headache, and cognitive/memory disorders
Diagnostics include EEG availability; EMG performed through an affiliated ambulatory center (no Epilepsy Monitoring Unit currently)

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 8:00a-4:30p
Average volume: 15-18 patients per day
Call: up to 4 weeks per year (structure and inpatient support models currently under discussion)
EMR: Epic

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary guarantee starting at $332,000
Sign-on bonus: $25,000
Relocation allowance: $10,000
31 days Annual Time Off (ATO); paid malpractice; comprehensive medical/dental/vision/life/disability; retirement matching programs; eligible site for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)

Open to new grads and experienced physicians
