Quick Facts: Location: Georgetown, DE Start Date: 04/28/2026 End Date/Duration: Permanent Shift: Monday–Friday, Day Shift Hours/Week: 40 hours Employment Type: Permanent Licensure/Certifications: Medical License required Experience: Relevant inpatient psychiatric experience preferred Pay & Benefits: Pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holiday pay in accordance with laws 401(k) retirement plan CME stipend Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated team support What You’ll Do: Provide inpatient psychiatric care for adult patients with various treatment disorders Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop treatment plans Manage medications, including pharmacotherapy and involuntary commitments Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team supporting patient recovery Maintain accurate documentation within Wellsky EMR Participate in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives Support the facility’s mission to deliver compassionate mental health services What You Need: Valid medical license in Delaware Experience in inpatient psychiatry preferred Familiarity with involuntary commitment processes Strong skills in pharmacotherapy and patient management Commitment to providing inclusive, patient-centered care About the Assignment: This position is based at a well-established inpatient mental health facility in Georgetown, DE, with a capacity of 99 beds. The role involves caring for a diverse adult patient population across a variety of psychiatric conditions, with an emphasis on compassionate, evidence-based treatment. No telehealth or offshore work is considered; this is a fully on-site position supporting the local community.
