Job Description Job Description Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a CDL Driver for an ongoing project in Nashville, TN . Long-term opportunity with overtime available! Work with a team supporting commercial construction operations and equipment transportation. Position Details PAY: $28.00 - $32.00/hour (based upon experience) HOURS: Expected shifts will be 8-hour days starting at 8:00 AM SCHEDULE: Expected work schedule is Monday-Friday; approximately 40+ hours/week START DATE: 06/01/2026 DURATION: This is anticipated to be an ongoing contract labor position CDL Driver Job Description: Responsible for driving various trucks and equipment between intrastate company job sites. Duties include transporting equipment, aggregates, parts, muck, and materials with a primary focus on flatbed and dump truck operation. Drivers will also assist with loading/unloading equipment, site cleanup, inspections, and basic maintenance support. Qualifications for CDL Driver: Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class B required 1+ years of CDL driving experience preferred Experience operating flatbeds, dump trucks, end dumps, belly dumps, or side dumps preferred Experience operating heavy equipment such as skid steers, wheel loaders, or telehandlers is a plus Must be able to safely load, unload, and secure equipment and materials Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE Must be able to perform job duties requiring standing, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and working outdoors Position requires the use of PPE including steel toe boots and hardhat Additional Requirements for CDL Driver: Must be eligible to work in the United States Must have reliable transportation to the job site Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license with a good driving record Ability to pass a DOT drug screen Position may require extended hours and weekend work Outdoor work environment SST IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER! ¡Hablamos Español!
