The Senior HR Business Partner serves as a strategic advisor to senior leaders within HP's Personal Systems organization, one of the company's largest and most dynamic businesses. This role partners with senior leaders not only across a global business, but also will collaborate closely with Centers of Excellence and HR colleagues worldwide to deliver talent and organizational solutions that enable transformation and growth. The role will play a critical part in shaping global workforce strategy, organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and culture to accelerate business outcomes. The successful candidate will influence key business decisions while helping leaders build high-performing organizations positioned for long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities of the Sr. HRBP – Personal Systems role:

• Partner with business leaders to shape workforce and organizational strategies that enhance organizational effectiveness, strengthen leadership capability, accelerate talent outcomes, and foster a high-performance culture.
• Lead workforce planning, organizational design, change management, and talent strategies that enable business transformation and support long-term growth objectives.
• Acts as trusted advisor, delivering insights and solutions to the Personal Systems leadership team to address business challenges and develop existing and future leaders.
• Coach and influence senior leaders through organizational change, leadership challenges, talent decisions, and business transformations.
• Contribute to the development of successful business strategies with both a people and talent lens.
• Recommend and develop People strategies and solutions to drive organizational performance and employee engagement measures.
• Lead talent, succession, and leadership development strategies to build diverse pipelines of future leaders, strengthen organizational capability, and accelerate career growth across the business.

• Business acumen – understands organizational charters, priorities, and strategies, as well as implications of external factors in the technology industry. Translates this knowledge into appropriate management and HR actions, while balancing competing priorities and being flexible and creative.
• Partnering and influence – builds relationships with trust and consistency, partners with leaders to drive actions that bring positive outcomes to the organization and people. Emulates The HP Way through positive influence and personal standards of conduct. Advocates for inclusive environments throughout all interactions and support.
• Execution – balances strategic thinking with tactical action to drive tangible results. Leverages strong business acumen and analytic capability to integrate HR and business strategies.

Education and Experience Required

• Bachelor’s or Graduate Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 10+ years of HR work experience, preferably as an HRBP or within an HR function managing organizational change initiatives, workforce plans, or other related areas.

Knowledge and Skills

• Comfortable with new tech and AI, ability to either automate workflows or provide input on how to optimize processes
• Experience in partnering, collaborating to drive results
• Superior ability to provide robust, overall HR consultation to all levels in an organization
• Strong project management and prioritization skills
• Ability to build relationships and partnerships across various functions
• Strong communication skills – written, oral and presentation
• Ability to scope and manage global programs
• Strong consulting skills
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and extract actionable insights

The pay range for this role is $116,150 to $180,000 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
