Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specialized in Emergency Room care to provide high-quality patient services in a Level I Trauma Center. This role involves delivering urgent and emergent care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and prioritize patient care needs in the emergency department.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient conditions continuously, recognizing signs of deterioration and responding promptly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
• Ensure adherence to safety and infection control standards during all patient interactions.

Qualifications:

• Obtain an active RN license in the state or a compact license compliant with NLC guidelines.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent ER nursing experience, with 3+ years preferred.
• Demonstrate experience working in a Level I Trauma Center or large hospital setting.
• Hold current certifications such as BLS and ACLS; verify that certifications will not expire during the assignment.
• Provide proof of immunizations and vaccination status per facility requirements.
• Must submit a driver's license with the application and include all requested time off (RTO) requests.
