Application Architect
We are seeking a hands-on Application Architect with strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Cloud, DevSecOps, and Container Orchestration. This role is responsible for designing scalable architectures, leading technical solutions, and supporting enterprise application development in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and design enterprise applications using Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, JSON.
- Build and optimize microservices architectures and cloud-native applications.
- Work with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift for containerization and orchestration.
- Drive automation and CI/CD using Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps.
- Implement logging/monitoring using Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and DevOps teams to ensure best practices.
- Troubleshoot L2 issues and support performance, security, and scalability improvements.
Required Skills
- 5+ years with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST.
- 5+ years with Docker, Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of OAuth, API development, API Management (Apigee preferred).
- Experience with Linux (RHEL), Windows Server, Tomcat, Apache, SQL Server.
- Scripting expertise: Bash, PowerShell, Python, Perl.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD, DevSecOps, cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Ansible, Chef, Puppet, SaltStack.
- Familiarity with TOGAF or similar architecture frameworks.
- Asset finance / leasing / lending domain exposure.
- Scaled Agile experience (SAFe).
