Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Onsite | Floating and call required

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and assist laboring patients throughout the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care
• Circulate for vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections; attend deliveries to support newborn resuscitation
• Triage obstetrical patients at 20 weeks gestation and above; communicate findings and updates with providers
• Recover vaginal and cesarean delivery patients and provide care to antepartum patients requiring management in Labor & Delivery
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care
• Float between departments within the Women's Pavilion as required; fulfill on-call obligations per unit schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Minimum 2 previously completed travel assignments in Labor & Delivery
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Ability to pass an EKG competency assessment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with CPN (GE) and Cerner electronic medical record systems
• Experience circulating for cesarean sections strongly preferred
