About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) to play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing its global scientific vision and impact. The CSO will be responsible for leading the development of a multi-year scientific agenda, ensuring that all work is grounded in rigorous evidence, innovation, and a commitment to improving health outcomes worldwide. This includes guiding the organization's improvement science strategy, establishing standards for scientific integrity, ethics, and data governance, and overseeing the Improvement Science Hub. The successful candidate will also be instrumental in formalizing the company's Product Development and Management System to prioritize and manage offerings with a focus on clear decision processes, equity, and local-context considerations. The ideal candidate for the CSO position at the company will have an advanced degree in a relevant field and deep expertise in improvement science, particularly in the practical application within complex systems. Strong scientific credibility, demonstrated through peer-reviewed publications and recognized contributions to the field, is essential. The role requires a visible leader who can strengthen partnerships, support growth through engagement, and develop scientific talent to enhance the company's credibility and impact. The CSO will be a key figure in ensuring that the company's programs, products, and partnerships deliver measurable, equitable impact across diverse global contexts, in line with its mission to improve health and health care worldwide.
