LPN ENT Clinic

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the ENT Clinic is responsible for assisting healthcare providers in delivering patient care, performing nursing procedures, and promoting a positive patient experience in the clinic setting. This role includes conducting assessments, assisting with procedures, managing patient communications such as test result calls and prescription refills, and supporting clinic operations through documentation and coordination. The LPN works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care. Responsibilities:

• Document patient care and treatments within the electronic health record (EHR).
• Assist healthcare providers with nursing procedures and patient assessments.
• Take vital signs and triage patient calls effectively.
• Manage prescription refills and complete prior authorizations as needed.
• Schedule referral appointments and support clinic workflow.
• Serve as the primary liaison between patients, staff, and providers.
• Order and maintain medical supplies for the clinic.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the provider or Clinic Director.

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, unencumbered Montana or Compact LPN license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Experience working in a clinic or outpatient setting.
• Familiarity with ENT clinical procedures and terminology.
• Previous experience with patient triage and prescription management.

• Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Maintain a positive and professional patient experience in a fast-paced clinic environment.

• Work schedule and shifts are determined by clinic needs; may involve standard daytime clinic hours.
