As a Support Partner , you'll work one-on-one with a person with disabilities, empowering independence and inclusion in their home and community. Your role will include:
  • Community Engagement - Help create meaningful connections and experiences.
  • Daily Living Support - Assist with personal care, communication, transportation, and social/recreational activities.
  • Advocacy - Support self-determination and equity for ALL people.
About the Position
  • Location: Nazareth, PA
  • Schedule: Full-time (38 hours per week)
  • Available Shifts:
    • Sunday: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM
    • Tuesday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
    • Thursday 2:00 PM - Friday 8:00 AM (afternoon/evening/overnight)

Who You'll Support

A man who values independence and enjoys 80s/90s cartoons and movies, college football, and the Catholic Church. He's looking for a mature, experienced Support Partner who is flexible, patient, calm, and detail-oriented. If you share some of his interests and have a caring, adaptable approach, this could be a great match!

What You'll Do
  • Provide verbal and physical support at home and in the community
  • Assist with hygiene needs
  • Help with shopping and meal preparation
  • Light housework and laundry
  • Support participation in community activities
  • Maintain routines and schedules
Preferred Experience
  • Personal or professional experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities and mental health diagnoses is a plus.

Requirements

PREFERRED but not REQUIRED:
  • Have a Bachelor's degree in one of the following majors: Psychology, Education, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work or Gerontology OR be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) OR qualified to be NADD certified (National Association for the Dually Diagnosed).
REQUIRED
  • A high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year experience supporting people to live in the community.
  • Possession of a valid drivers license with a safe driving record.
  • Access to a reliable vehicle, proof of current vehicle registration, inspection, and insurance.
  • 18 years of age or older.
