Senior Motion Planning Engineer

To support the development of cutting-edge autonomous vehicle technology, the full-time Senior Motion Planning Engineer will lead the research and development of advanced algorithms, design robust software, and mentor junior team members, with flexibility for remote work or in-office collaboration in Boston, Pittsburgh, or Las Vegas. Key responsibilities Lead the research and development of novel motion planning algorithms for autonomous driving Architect and integrate complex motion planning and prediction algorithms, ensuring system performance Design and build a high-performance codebase for rapid prototyping and evaluation of motion planning approaches Required qualifications PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, or related field, or a Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience 5+ years of research experience in robotics/motion planning with a track record of state-of-the-art contributions 3+ years of C++ software development focused on high-performance systems Experience leading technical development from problem formulation to deployment in a production environment Strong drive for knowledge and innovation in autonomous driving technology
