We are currently hiring for an Overnight Maintenance Technician II , a vital role responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and smooth operation of all building systems and equipment. This position plays a key part in maintaining the overall condition and functionality of the hotel, supporting both our guest experience and our operational excellence.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair all Hotels Areas in accordance with the procedures and standards guidelines.
• Report any unusual findings or safety hazards immediately to the Team Leader and Director of Support Services.
• Document all work performed on a room inspection sheet and work orders.
• Perform the shift engineer's checklist daily and report any abnormalities. Perform all safety tests as directed.
• Maintain clean and orderly shops and storage areas. Assist in the ordering and stock maintenance of all necessary tools, parts, and materials.
• Respond to guest and emergency calls within predetermined response time periods.
• Successfully complete Training Certification Process and review all departmental safety information (i.e., JHA's and MSDS's), and practice emergency procedures in compliance with hotel company standards.
• Complete work orders and shop assignments in a timely manner.
• Walk the Hotels for burnt-out light bulbs and maintenance needs.
• Participate in the maintenance of all Records and Log Books as requested.
• Understand and practice hotel emergency fire procedures.
• Perform all other engineering-related duties assigned by the supervisor. Offer lateral service to
• internal/external customer when available.
• Maintain safe conditions in the work area and other associated areas.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues.

• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) to conduct regular inspections.

• Ability to read, write and exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
• Valid Drivers License with acceptable motor vehicle record per company standards.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

• Trade school or apprenticeship in general building maintenance, HVAC and mechanical, electrical, plumbing, etc., is required.

• 1+ years of working in a hotel engineering environment is required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of walking, standing, and sitting.

• Must be able to lift up to 50+ pounds at times.
