Cultivation Technician (Temp-to-Hire) Our client is a premier cannabis organization comprised of an extensive team of seasoned operators with years of experience in cannabis cultivation and distribution. We are currently seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Cultivation Technician for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Holliston, MA. Role Overview Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire Pay: From $19 / hour Holliston, MA 01746 Expected Hours: 40 hours / week Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Primary Responsibilities Plant Maintenance: Provide daily care for cannabis plants, including watering, pruning, and trimming. Health Monitoring: Perform regular inspections of plants to ensure health and quality standards. Harvest Activities: Participate in the full cannabis harvest process, including offloading, harvesting, and sanitizing equipment. Post-Harvest Processing: Assist with hanging materials, drying, curing, destemming, and trimming. Waste & Compliance: Manage the milling and destruction of cannabis waste and dispose of materials according to strict state compliance guidelines. Facility Upkeep: Maintain a clean grow facility and machinery through continuous systematic sanitizing. Data Accuracy: Accurately weigh and record post-harvest materials and track data during each cultivation phase. Regulatory Standards: Ensure all information is accurate and listed clearly in accordance with state regulations and company standard operating procedures (SOPs). Additional duties as assigned. Requirements & Preferences Age: Must be 21 years of age or older. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Physical Demands: Ability to move, carry, and lift up to 50 pounds. Stamina: Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods while maintaining focus. Experience (Preferred): At least one year of experience working in a cannabis cultivation environment. Work Style: Highly motivated, self-directed, and able to work independently or within teams using keen judgment and resourcefulness. Environment: Experience working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment while adhering to strict compliance laws and SOPs. Attitude: Maintain a professional and respectful attitude toward others.
