Registered Nurse - Operating Room

$2611.20/week -

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patients conditions and develop individualized preoperative care plans.
  
  
• 
  Prepare surgical patients by obtaining consents, verifying information, and ensuring compliance with protocols.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to coordinate procedures and patient needs.
  
  
• 
  Maintain sterile techniques and assist with prepping patients for surgery.
  
  
• 
  Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system.
  
  
• 
  Respond promptly to urgent needs or complications during preoperative procedures.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid and unexpired Nursing license with current BLS certification.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in IV skills, surgical care, and robotics knowledge.
  
  
• 
  Proven experience in preoperative or surgical nursing care.
  
  
• 
  Ability to scrub effectively and work well within a team.
  
  
• 
  Strong understanding of EMR systems, currently Sunrise with upcoming EPIC transition.
  
  
• 
  Must be able to work day shifts, rotating weekends, and on-call as required.
